My impression was that Spaights wasn't super bitter, but also wasn't particularly happy. Then again, no screenwriter is happy when someone else is brought in to "enhance" what they've done. If he was really bitter I don't think he would have done the interviews for the documentary.

In fairness to Spaights, I think Lindelof is likely responsible for some of the things that took Prometheus off track. I found it interesting that the doc went into quite a bit of detail on Spaights' script development, but didn't go into nearly as many specifics about Lindelof's contributions.

Not quite finished with the doc, but I'm impressed with how much they used practical effects vs CG in the film.

It doesn't.
It goes straight to the dvd menu, so I don't know how I am supposed to get my digital copy, Why can't they just give you the right fucking code in the package instead of having t jump through hoops to get it?

Yeah, the stupid disc code program isn't working for me either. I'm sure it must be something I need to turn on somewhere. The UlatraViolet code (the one that is on the paper insert) works fine at Flixster.

I e-mailed [email protected] and hope to hear from them soon.

Well I got an insert that didn't have a code printed at all. I have emailed them about this to see what they say. I guess, if anything, I can return it for another copy to get the code.

If anyone has been waiting to pick up the 3D version with the documentary, it's down to $12.99 on Amazon

I don't do 3D, but I'm wondering if that documentary is all it's cracked up to be?
Still also wondering if Ridley Scott will ever do an extended cut on this, I haven't watched this yet but I've heard very mixed reviews.

It's really really good. I bought it on release even though I hate 3D and i'm glad I did.

Yeah. It's a pretty damn good documentary. I'd honestly just get the set for the features over the film really. Really good package. An almost 4 hour making of by Charles de Lauzirika? Yeah. I'll watch whatever production making of by that guy.

On a somewhat tangential note, though I don't want to bump and old thread, so I'll ask here, which Blu-Ray of Blade Runner is the better bet, the complete collection or the anniversary set?
