Cube Blu-ray
CUBE Blu-ray combo is now available in Canada through Alliance Atlantis, released May 15 2012. It's movie-only, with few extras, so hang onto your old DVD for the storyboards and trailer. The DVD included does have a 1-minute compilation of deleted scenes and an interview with Nicole DeBoer.. The Blu transfer has impressive picture and sound, making it worth the upgrade IMHO. Amazon.ca has it only for $14.99. I got mine at Future Shop.

No commentaries? There are at least two, there might be three out there for this movie. There was one on the initial DVD and one or two on the Signature Series DVD. (Check under the Set-Up menu.)

Re: Cube Blu-ray
The original DVD was non-anamorphic and had the commentary with David Hewlett, Andre Bijelic and Vincenzo Natali along with deleted scenes, storyboard galleries and the trailer. The Lionsgate re-release upgraded the transfer and threw in a new commentary with Natali, but dropped the original one. All of the other bonus material remained except for the new interview with Nicole deBoer.
The DVD included with this sounds like the second Alliance disc put out as their original release had a pan and scan transfer. Their re-release contained the same Lionsgate transfer, the new Natali commentary and the deBoer interview.

How does this Canadian release of CUBE compare to the Dutch Blu release?
Bitrate, codec, etc?

Re: Cube Blu-ray
Dutch version is darker, based on the screen caps (thanks, Disc-Flipper), but is that a bad thing? Hard to tell from screen shots alone. General consensus?
