Went to best buy today they didnt have any in the front where they have alot of the 7.99 blu rays in display. They didnt have any in the new releases display. Went all the way in the back and looked around where they have movies that begin with the letter T and no total recall label in sight. But i notice this baby cramped up between other movies and took it. It had a 9.99 label on it. No mention of on sale for 7.99. Took it up to the cashier she scanned it and it came up at 7.99. Paid for it and left the store. It look like they had only one in stock.

Got my copy from Amazon. Fantastic presentation. Hooray for a catalog title encoded correctly (high bitrate means plenty of breathing room)! Very impressed. There is hope.

I generally thought it was a very good transfer, except early on, the skin tones looked a tad too pink at times.

Watched the new blu on the big screen tonight. There's no saving those effects shots, but for the most part it looked sharp and marvelous.

odd...2 of the stores in the areas closer to me got TR today...sooooo maybe the stores are getting them late. Sadly the one 2 miles from me doesn't have it...yet...those fuckers.

Yeah, I got mine from Amazon too. BB doesn't always have what I want anymore anyway unless it's listed in the flyer before I go or if it's a recent movie release top 10 seller. I went the safe route and ordered it from Amazon.

I somehow managed to never see this movie despite being exactly in it's target demographic and it sounding right up my alley. Figured now's a good time for a blind buy! Amazon should have it in my mailbox tonight!

somehow I forgot about this in my mailbox at school. Picked it up yesterday, been there since the 9th. *sigh* Anyway...saw it. Really good transfer. I enjoy the film a lot. Also I noticed the one thing I don't like about the film..the color palette when you're inside a location there..so bland and boring. Something has always bothered me..it's that damn color palette for clothing and some locations. Besides that...super fun movie. A lot of nostalgia. Really dig the new studio canal logo too. Talking about that logo...when you start the commentary, you hear the old SC logo going on and it goes over a bit longer into the Tristar logo too...so w/ the commentary is it a bit out of sync w/ the picture? I didn't listen to the whole thing..just that little bit at the beginning.
