Sold!! I love Code of Silence. It's such an underrated Norris flick. Lone Wolf McQuade is also pretty good.


Hoping for a Delta Force release. I would love to finally get that in Widescreen. Still have my 4:3 MGM DVD.

Silent Rage is a Sony Movie. Probably unlikely to have a BD release since it's such an old flick and not one of Norris' more popular titles.

Delta Force looks to be a Wal-Mart exclusive coming out June 5.

It could happen, either through the licensing deal Sony has with Image Entertainment or the new one with Mill Creek.

I've wanted a copy of Delta Force forever. I'm pretty sure the only DVD release was pan and scan. Didn't think I'd ever see it on Blu.

I have the current DVD and it's anamorphic widescreen; either way I'm upgrading.

The Delta Force, Missing in Action 1 and 2 are now available at Walmart for $7.96 each

I picked up all 3. And to top it off, The Delta Force is finally getting it's 1st Widescreen release. Now I can dump my MGM Foolscreen DVD.

I'll pick up both Lone Wolf McQuade and Code of Silence when they come out in July.

Okay so I decided to go ahead and watch a little bit of The Delta Force. I've seen the movie probably more than 10 times.

1st of all, I love that we are finally getting the movie in Widescreen. I don't think it's been seen in that format since it was in theatres years ago.

2nd, the transfer is pretty clean. They did a more than adequate job re-mastering a 26 year old movie. It looks like they used the original film stock.

3rd, FOX made a key fix that was missing in the previous MGM DVD. That original DVD was missing subtitles on all the Lebanese dialogue, which I found extremely annoying. All the original subtitles are back, which I think can be attributed to them using the original film stock.

The only extra is the original trailer, but who cares at this point? It's The Delta Force on BD!!

Are they in store? I've only seen them on Walmart.com. I want to pick these up.

You bet. I love this movie from my childhood. I'm in Texas too, so your theory is sound.

I reviewed The Delta Force BD for DoBlu. It looks pretty decent given its age. Missing In Action, not so much. The budgetary limitations of the movie on that one come into play. Missing In Action 2 looks surprisingly great for a low-budget action movie of the 80s.

And 5 years later, even more have finally been released.

Silent Rage is on a triple movie pack titled Payback Time. It also has Blind Fury with Rutger Hauer and White Line Fever starring Van Michael Vincent. Mill Creek released this selling it for $14.96. Amazon has it for prime members at $6.76.
