The Artist - June 26th
I figured a thread was due, since it's now bound to come out sooner than later. I'm curious as to why there's no sign of an announcement yet.
In this week's Entertainment Weekly's Bullseye, they have it as coming out "next week", which is probably highly unlikely. Anyone heard anything?

I know, same here! With most of the Oscar pics released or soon to be released, it's a bit annoying to have to wait 2 more months for this one.
I wonder what prompted the push? Trying to milk the theatre showings a bit more maybe?

They're taking the time to colorize it and convert it to 3D.
Nah, I don't know why it's taking longer. Maybe they are adding more features than they originally were going to have.

Re: The Artist - TBA
I'm considering buying the Canadian version with its much less awful cover art (although I hate the huge banner)
I'm a bit worried that it's released by Atlantis Vivafilm though. Going around the internet it seems their blu-rays aren't always top notch (for example, their release of both Kill Bills crammed on the same disc), but I would assume that with new movies, they're merely acting as distributors and the disc content would be nearly identical.
Who do I have to contact to have the thread title changed to reflect the actual release date?
