Brand new, compact (no mask or bulky box) Scream Collection on BD!
I stumbled upon this at Future Shop yesterday, got it for only 20$! There was a big pile of it and they weren't even tagged yet, it looked like a fresh arrival. Upon coming back home, I tried to find it online and no other stores seem to have it yet.
I'm very happy because I've wanted the Scream movies for awhile, but didn't want that big box with the Ghostface mask. It's cool, but I don't like clutter. Good thing I waited since I now have all four films in one blu-ray case with a pretty nice slip case. I checked and each movie seems to contain all the special features like commentary, deleted scenes, etc.
This thing is everything I could hope for: compact, sexy-looking and cheap as hell!
I took pictures of the set but since I'm a new user the site won't let me post them. Can I PM them to someone to post here?

Must be Canada since that set can't happen in the US because Anchor Bay has the rights to #4.
Does 1-3 have special features? The Alliance versions were barebones.

There we go, DVD Polizei posted a link to the pics I had put up on NeoGAF.
GizmoDVD, I only tested Scream 2, and it had the special features (commentary, deleted scenes, etc). I assume they all do. And yeah, I got it at Future Shop in downtown Montreal, Canada.

Well, I like the packaging. For the price, I'd be inclined to get it in the future. With all these trilogies, having smaller packaging works for me. Like the Alien compact set I got from the UK.

I already bought the mask version back when, but does this thing have 5 discs or 4? Curious if they included the disc with the feature length documentaries or not.

Honestly, I'm thinking 20$ couldn't have been the regular price. Had to be a boxing day deal, but it wasn't advertised as such so I dunno.

Huh, I saw a used copy of this a few weeks before Christmas but didn't grab as these movies don't do it for me anymore. I believe it had all four movies and a fifth disc of extras.

It is a boxing week deal. It was in the flyer and sold across the country (the big box with the mask is/was also this price). HOWEVER, because it's an Alliance release, $20 will become the regular price soon enough. Within three or four months, it will drop even further at most retailers, as all of their releases tend to do. Those who miss it this time around won't have to wait long . . .

The black plastic case itself is the same, but the masked box has different artwork and no slip cover. I bought that set for my wife, as it was $23.99 on Amazon.ca a few weeks ago.
To answer GizmoDVD's question... I'm pretty sure it's the same barebones discs for 1 thru 3. We've only watched #4 since getting the set.

That is a pretty awesome-looking set, but I think I'm happy with my trilogy set w/ slipcover and disc with documentaries plus the stand-alone "Scream 4" with AWESOME Canadian slipcover.
