I was joking with The Lizard King. We both collect slipcovers and we are good friends.

So much so that I'm going to be the best man at your impending wedding. :D

For a wedding gift, you could just give him the box the blender came in.

Yes, but are there multiple variants of the box and did they later release the blender wrapped in plastic without a box? That really ups the value you know!

Great idea. I can make a slipcover out of that box :)

Xage doesn't collect slipcovers so I don't know how you think I'm outdoing him. :D

I think a/v junkie's just trying to become internet famous like Xage and danol.

Maybe if we ignore him, he'll go away.

At least danol was entertaining.

LOL!! Really??? Don't you think it's childish to ignore a member because of their collection. You must be like 16, 17??

FYI-
Your high school behavior will get you nowhere. ;)

You will never earn enough selling them to recoup what you've already spent buying films you A) wouldn't have otherwise had they not come with a slipcover, and B) make up for the duplicates you've bought just because they came with an 'exclusive' slipcover.

So to sum up, Obi-Wan Jabroni was right ;)

This seems to be the best place to ask: if I order the Tron Bluray plus DVD (the basic 2 disc set) from Amazon, does anyone know if they're shipping with the slipcover? My Tron Legacy has the slip and I want them to match.

tks

Probably. Disney slips tend to have a LONG run.

I agree with TLK. Most Disney titles that have slipcovers have a longer print run than any other movie studio.

I just received my copy of The Incredibles in the mail. No slip cover. :(
Now it sticks out like a sore thumb on the shelf with my other Disney titles.

Hmmmm.....I still see copies with slipcovers in my area. Did you order through Amazon??

Re: these people are obsessed with slipcovers

I ordered it through Disneymovieclub.com so I didn't have a choice in what was sent to me. Interestingly, all the other movies I ordered came with their slipcovers.
