Bought it, but haven't watched it yet. Gonna do them all in order- I've only seen Man of Steel, but I liked it (both the movie and the 3D. Reviewed the 2D version here then bought the 3D.)

My Amazon order shipped today, so I should be able to check out the 3D next week. However, I was disappointed with the 3D in the previous DCEU films, so I'm not getting my hopes up.

yeah, just wanted some confirmation before mine ships out next week. i have digital so not sure really worth 3D. Wonder Woman was pretty good, don't think i tried Suicide Squad yet. i know some Marvel are hit and miss, so who knows with this...

How is the 3D for In the Heart of the Sea? Worth 10 bux?

Yes. I thought it was great.

Just finished watching Justice League in 3D. Wish I had experienced the same greatness described by others. It looked like a typical conversion, that is to say, some added depth but little pop out. I recall Batman's slo-mo toss of his batarang at Barry popping out, but I can't think of any other moments. There was also plenty of ghosting throughout the film. Another disappointment was the audio: only the 2D disc has Dolby Atmos; the 3D disc is DTS-HD MA and only 5.1 channels. A couple of other minor nitpicks: no digital code or slip cover. At least the picture filled my screen (no black bars). To my eyes, the 3D was as good or bad as it was in the other DCEU films.

You could contact Warner Bros about the missing code. Make sure you can provide a picture/scan of your receipt.

The 3D version sold at Amazon does not include a digital code. I didn't notice until I opened it. It is labeled as Blu-ray 3D + Blu-ray. wtf!
If I knew/noticed that I would have gotten the one from Best Buy.
Anyway, Since I saw it in the theater, I only put it in for a few minutes and watched some of the big battle at the end to check the 3D (plus I just rewired my entertainment system and needed something to test it). It looked OK, lot of pixelation in the background/distant stuff. Wonder Woman still looks good in 3D.

Thanks, but I got the one from Amazon, so it's not supposed to have a code. I didn't notice it until I took it out of the Amazon package. I probably would have ordered this version anyway had I realized it ahead of time because I was able to get for about $14 with discounts. Oh well. At least we got a 3D version released in the U.S. (unlike some other recent titles like Thor: Ragnarok and The Last Jedi).

My Justice League 3D came with a slipcover, so that's just you I guess.

I do agree though, I didn't much understand the love for the 3D presentation. It was merely decent. However, on this second viewing, I actually think I liked the movie a bit more, although the final battle with Steppenwolf is kind of crappy.

Ezra Miller is hopeless as Flash, I hope they recast him.

It was my second viewing as well. Ironically, I think I liked the movie less: Too many CGI environments for my taste, and Steppenwolf's mouth looked like it was moving in slow motion whenever he spoke. Then there's mustache-gate....

I really didn't like how they used Superman's character either.

Basically, there's too much Joss Whedon in this movie I think.

so, 3D JL not worth it, huh? I wish bluray.com got ahold of this one. Like their reviews...

Yes it's good and the 3D is too. Not like THOR, but good.

Pretty lame "exclusive" for Best Buy- the trading cards were in their own pack loose inside the case, with no obvious place to put them other than somewhere else away from the disc, just like the film frame that came with Interstellar. Still gotta do my part to keep supporting 3D, and I can afford to pay the higher prices now.

Looking forward to The Maze from Furmanek and company!

As I know you enjoy building your digital library, keep in mind the Amazon version does not come with a digital code. Only the Best Buy version.

Not quite sure why, but there was mention of that in one of these threads from one of our fellow DVD talk members.

Not entirely true. One of the 3D versions from Amazon come with the slipcover and digital copy. It's just not available from Amazon at the moment.

This is the one with no digital copy

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0794Y8FN8

The version missing the digital code must have been the one that was on sale for $14.99 that went out of stock quickly. Makes me wonder if it could have been a misssing insert or that version simply doesn't include an insert.

By the way I clicked the link you provided and read aime of the reviews. There are reviews complaining about the lack of digital code insert for that version. One review even stated they paid the full price, not the $14.99 discounted listing.

Yeah, it's kind of dumb that they offered two versions at different prices.

And some good 3D news today, preorder for Pacific Rim Uprising 3D

The first movie is still my go to 3D movie to show people.
