I have four pairs of these and they work great and seem to hold a charge for a long time between using them

Guess so. :(

T2 came in the mail today, a surprise since I didn't know it was shipping, all I've heard lately is the delay. It is labeled as region B but that won't stop me, though I won't have time to watch it for a while. Hoping to watch them all in order when I have time, never watched the ones after T3.

For active-shutter glasses, I got this pair when I got my projector this past summer, and they've been great so far:

We finally got a chance to watch Wonder Woman 3D over the weekend and I thought it looked pretty good. I'm glad I stuck with that version over the 4K version that was on sale over the weekend, because I was tempted to return it due to the price difference.

i did too. the 3D presentation is pretty good. didn't see it like that in movies, but the depth and battle scenes, especially on Themyscira, were really done well. i know this was post, but it was pretty good post and bolstered the movie that much more.

Am I missing something? It seems like in-store only, and then none are available anywhere near me?

Same price in store as well. Some of them might be out of stock for shipping.

Ghost in the Shell 3D is back in stock for shipping. I've ordered 5 movies so far. The only other one I wouldn't mind picking up would be Spongebob for the kids. For $10 a pop, I don't mind rolling the dice on some of these.

Lord help me, but I picked up the new Transformers in 3D. Reviews of the 3D seemed positive. I wanted GitS 3D, but not in stock the couple times this morning that I checked.

Just a heads up, that 3D sale is featured on an end cap this week in stores. My local store had copies of everything in stock (except Titanic), even though they were not showing available online. Most had slipcovers too. So I went ahead and canceled everything that didn't ship yet and just grabbed them there.

I was just about to post the same thing. Just got back from the store and picked up some titles that were showing unavailable both in store and online.

This 3D sale is too tempting for me. I was going to ask opinions on the 3D Transformers movies that are on sale. I think I've only ever seen the first two movies. I wasn't really a fan, but a good 3D presentation can make a bad movie into at least a fun, entertaining experience.

So, any opinions on the 3D Transformers and TMNT movies?

I thought the 3D on Dark of the Moon and Age of Extinction was pretty top notch. Got the latest film in 2D from the library thinking it would be a while before the 3D set reached a reasonable price. I ordered it in this Best Buy sale, but it's in transit. As for the films themselves, I think I can actually feel myself getting dumber as I watch them, but I'm a sucker for all things 3D now, so in my book 3D can make a migraine-inducing movie at least somewhat more tolerable! The TMNT films also fall into this category for me, but considering who produced them, that's no surprise.

On a semi-related note, I watched the UK edition of The Huntsman last night, which has phenomenal 3D. Well worth importing, even though the film is just a bit above average.

I also picked up T3 & T5 along with both Turtles movies. I already had T4 and it looks fantastic in 3D and honestly that would be the only way I would watch any of those movies at this point. I rented the second Turtles movie a while ago and it also looked great, I was just waiting on a good sale.

The first TMNT movie is dumb as dirt but has excellent 3D. The action scenes were clearly staged with 3D in mind.

Haven't seen the sequel.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll likely wait until I get paid Friday to pick up a few more.

For those interested, the region-free U.K. 3D combo edition of THE MUMMY (Tom Cruise) is down to £10, which works out to just over $15 USD shipped. As mentioned above, 3D can make many things more palatable, and I have seen the film, so I bit.

No, Bay didn't start shooting the movies in 3D until Dark of the Moon, and the first two have not been converted to 3D (at least not yet).

Actually, I'll probably end up renting this. If I'm going to watch a movie this dumb once, I might as well watch it in 3D.

I went back for one last run. I picked up the Transformers movies, G.I. Joe and Sponge Bob. I never planned on buying Sponge Bob, but both turtles movies were sold so I decided to splurge.

In light of my recent 3D buying binge, I got in touch with some friends, and we're going to have a 3D night Saturday.
