I went with Zombie because BU will do a fantastic job with it and it looks to be packed. I'm excited for almost all of these though. Fright Night would be higher on the list if it wasn't going to have such a high price tag. And Horror Express is also high on the list since I don't own it anymore.

Yeah, Evil Dead 2 looks like it might the best in terms of extras, and I'm really looking forward to Island of Lost Souls, but as Fright Night is one of my favorite all-time horror films, I can't really put anything above it, despite the price and likely lack of extras.

I just got The Hills Have Eyes today, I never understood how Fox has had the shitty HHE 2 remake out on blu, but never released the first one. Glad to finally have it.

Picked up The Others on blu a couple of weeks ago. Love the movie but the screen ratio was messed up I thought.

There are also a few UK releases coming up, including Candyman, Quatermass and the Pit and Four Flies on Velvet, plus an apparently delayed Australian disc of Vampire Lovers.

Peter Jackson's Dead Alive on Oct 4th (but supposedly it won't include the uncut version.)
...now where's Bad Taste on blu?

I've got Halloween II on the way, so that excitement doesn't count anymore.
I'm going to go with Zombie, since it sounds like it'll be one awesome package. Runner-up is Fright Night, as I've been dying to get that one on BD.

i chose EVIL DEAD 2 since i really didn't think we'd be getting a decent (hopefully!) version of that.

Re: Which fall '11 horror release are you most excited about?
For me it's Halloween II. I've been waiting so long for a release of Terror in the Aisles, and to have it in 1080p and included alongside a cool movie for a reasonable price is wonderful. However I do wish it was unaltered. I'd love to say that it's Hellbound: Hellraiser II, but my excitement was killed by the reviews and screencaps of Hellraiser and The Hills Have Eyes. It'll probably be the blu-ray of the year for me if it's good. It's one of my favorite horror movies, especially in terms of production design.
