I emailed and never got a reply confirming my email. Disce showed up in today's mail. Well done and easy replacement program. I think the only hard part was reading the numbers off of the original disc.

They emailed me back initially to ask for the ring #'s so I expect if you included that originally there was no need for further contact.

They did, and I replied back with everything they asked. Seeing everyone else get theirs is just making me kinda antsy...

I haven't gotten my replacements yet either. Not too worried at this point though.

I e-mailed the first day as well, but gave up and called them a few days later. Replacements arrived on Friday.

I trust this will include the original broadcast cut of "The Measure of a Man"?

If it's listing the extended cut as an extra I would hope the original is there too.

According to this article, both the original and extended cuts will be included.

Apparently they're going to be making some new special effects for the extended cut as well, which is going to be about 20 minutes longer.

That's kick ass that they're making an extended cut of an episode as well as including the original... hopefully this is a trend they will continue in future sets.

On a separate note...What happens if you can't read the numbers well and you get it wrong? I swear that I can't really read them all (I hate feeling like I'm getting old).

I'm sure you'll be fine...the numbers were almost exactly the same for each disc.

I got mine yesterday...I actually wish the postcard was just a LITTLE smaller so it would fit inside the case. As it is, though, it does fit nicely between the slipcover and the case.

Now what to do with the old discs? It's not like they're unwatchable.

Well then, they can't become coasters like DIVX and HD-DVDs... Perhaps skeet?

My TNG discs just came in the mail today. Awesome job by Paramount and Deluxe for promptly getting this fixed.

Not TNG related but I saw this: http://ent.trekcore.com/bluray/10062...blurumors.html
It doesn't sound like it's a for sure deal but I'd probably pick up Enterprise if it was put out. I never have seen much of it but am a Trek fan so I'd likely go for it.

I'd jump for Enterprise on Blu. It's only four seasons, and that last one really nailed what the concept should have been.

It's funny, I remember during the shows last couple of seasons, there was talk that Paramount should have started releasing it on Blu back then to help expand it's fanbase. They really dropped the ball on that idea.

You'd have to pay me to have Enterprise in my house.

Re: Star Trek TNG remastered on its way for 2012

I guess I didn't see a ton but the episodes of Enterprise I've seen didn't seem that bad. The only Trek I didn't care for much was Voyager. Deep Space Nine isn't my favorite either but that's mostly because I don't like Sisko.

I'd love Enterprise in Blu. I thoroughly enjoyed the show. I've watched the whole series a few times on DVD and remember watching on HDNET as well. I find it has more rewatch value than Voyager or DS9. I love DS9 too, but can't see watching it as much as TOS, TNG or Enterprise. That Vulcan chick would look great too.

Pretty sure you're remembering that incorrectly. The last episodes of Enterprise aired in Spring 2005, a year or more before Blu was available.

I'd consider getting season four of Enterprise on blu-ray.

Maybe it was the DVD releases, since it looks like none of the seasons were released on DVD until 2005.

But still, wasn't Bluray being discussed that early also? I might have seen somebody suggest that for the cross-promotion synergy and mixed the two in my head.

Still, it's absurd that it's taken so long for it to come to Blu since it's a native HD show.
