Only 73 seconds longer and CGI blood that adds continuity errors? Sounds like one of those crappy extended cuts from Fox (like Max Payne).

Wow, 73 whole seconds! 
Even though that's barely over a minute of footage, all the changes sound pointless. The "Fast" franchise wasn't really in need of blood spatter. Die Hard needs blood. Fast & the Furious series... not so much.

Best Buy is having a steelbook version for $24.99. Looks like a DVD size.

Abe, they have the pre-order booklet for Fast Five on the BB shelves, $5 for a dvd-sized booklet on the cars. i picked it up and then put it back on the shelves so i don't know what's inside. what's up with these recent crummy pre-order incentives? the Star Wars senitype cel was pretty cheesy also.

no, the pre-order isn't one that comes with an empty steelbook. it's just a dvd-sized booklet that you use to pre-order any version of FF. figured since you were locked in on the release you may as well get the extra bonus booklet by pre-ordering.

Best Buy has it for $19.99 as well. Thought about going for the Steelbook but I own the other four BDs so I'd rather have the copy that matches those...

Blind-bought this around Black Friday based on recommendations of this board. Just watched it and really enjoyed it. I'd missed the last couple installments so I didn't get the "reuniting the team" aspect, but it was a lot of fun. (I like the heist elements better than the car porn.)
I downloaded the Digital Copy today because the deadline is listed as 3/13/12.

FYI, Target has the new re-releases of parts 1-5 for $10 each, except Fast Five is $13. Each comes with a new Digital Copy + UV. No movie cash though for part 6.
