Robot Chicken: Season Five - October 25



Warner Brothers has announced an October 25th, 2011 release date for the hit television comedy, “Robot Chicken” Season Five. It hasn’t been confirmed but the Blu-ray may have a 5.1 DTS-HD MA track while the DVD most certainly contain a Dolby Digital 5.1 track. The Blu-ray will command a $39.99 SRP and the DVD a $29.98 SRP. The season five set will contain all 20 episodes but in something new, 9 of them will be available to fans before they even air (they are a part of the second half of the fifth season).

Cool beans. Me and my wife love this show. I'll grab it when it hits $15 on dvd unless I can snag it for under $20 on blu. Anybody know if there is a going to be a boxset of the Robot Chicken-Star Wars three-some, hopefully something akin to the Family Guy one?

I love Robot Chicken and can't wait until this set is released. Who knew there was a fifth season? Hey! I cannot find the Robot Chicken Star Wars III anywhere in stores here in Canada and Amazon.ca has a February 2012 release date for that disc, so I think there's some supply or legal issue happening; there was no delay with the previous discs.

This makes it even more confusing why they didn't release the upcoming ATHF, sorry, AUPS1 on BD.
