It looks like it includes most of the content from the "Beyond Jurassic Park" bonus DVD from the old trilogy set, no?

Taking a quick look at my Beyond Jurassic Park disc the features are:

Hopefully they'll avoid that old case design that BTTF had with the spring clips. I'd rather have these in separate BD cases, but I would say we'll get another foldout digipak with the discs stacked.

I am glad we are getting some new interviews.

Cool cover. I'd wait for the holiday deals, too but somebody let us know when amazon has it up so we'll know what pricing to expect.

Oh sweet! I love that box too (aside from the pointless Blu-Ray / Digital Copy header) and I am really excited to see that documentary. I hope it's full length!

Minor nitpick but I wish they'd have gone with the red/yellow/black color scheme instead of the silver. It just screams JP3. :-)

I doubt it will right away. Maybe in a year or so...we still haven't had separate releases of Back to the Future.

I'm only interested in the first film, but will pick this up when it gets really cheap

If this is priced similar to the BTTF set, it'll end up being $79.99. Which means a debut price of probably $45 or so, which I think is fair. I wonder if that new documentary will get put on its own disc, or added to one of the other movie discs.

this will probably be also similar to what BTTF did...2 parts of the documentary per disc...each part will be fairly to specific to the movie of the disc it's on

Who cares about the bloody special features? Picture Quality is where it's at. Hoping for a stunning 1080p presentation, especially for JP.

Yeah, one would think that after 30 years of extra features on laserdiscs, VHS, DVDs, HD-DVD and Blu-ray studios would realize that absolutely nobody is interested in extra features whatsoever.

I love the original, can't stand the sequels, can I just buy Jurassic Park I? Or do I have to buy the boxset like Back to the Future Trilogy?

It appears this will be released initially as a box set only. Probably won't see single releases until next year.

The specs list DTS-HD 5.1. But someone posted a trailer for the BD set and claims they mention the audio will be in 7.1. Not sure if that's accurate, but I would love a new 7.1 mix.
