How do 3D BDs play in 2D players?
Do they work just fine?
I find the 3D craze makes for rather ridiculous-looking scenes when watching in 2D at the store or theater. The composition and framing makes no sense.
I guess studios figure that people wearing glasses don't matter, because so many new releases are 3D these days and you can't comfortably wear the required equipment if you wear glasses.

A 3D only disc won't play in a 2D player. You need a 3D player and a 3D TV
A 3D disc will play in 2D if it has the 2D option 'open' (Pirahna, Resident Evil Extinction).

I know everyone is different, but I've never had a problem with 3D glasses over my glasses.
