The Terminator Digibook
I was just reading about the Terminator digibook and it looks pretty good, except for the fact that it doesn't have the original mono mix that I'm a big fan of. Does anyone here have this and can tell me about it ? As I said, it doesn't have the mono mix, but I think I could live without it if I had to. Specifically, the Other Voices documentary. I haven't been able to find the dvd that has it, so....is it on any blu-ray ?

Re: The Terminator Digibook
The digibook is just a repackaging of the original Blu-ray edition, first released by Sony (distributing for MGM) in 2006. The distribution rights later shifted to Fox, who put it first in a case with a lenticular case and now a digibook. But Fox never remastered it, so it's still the same disc.
Mediocre transfer. No original mono soundtrack. Anemic selection of bonus features slimmed down from the DVD. No Other Voices documentary.

Rumor has it that MGM plans to remaster the film, but the project was put on hold due to the studio's financial crisis.

Re: The Terminator Digibook
When I look at my shelf and see multiple copies of Terminator and T2 - I swore they weren't going to get me on the blu-rays also, cash grab all the way.

Guess I won't be getting it, then. I HATE the transfer for T2. I only got the T2 collector's set because I wanted the electronic lightup endoskull. The transfer is crap. At least I got more editions that are actually good.
