No clue. I'm at 333 now, maybe I'll make 500 special.

We're really close, I'm at 330 now which I thought I would never hit since I only ended up with about 150 DVDs or so. The 5/$20 at Blockbuster really helped though.

It's not hard to do with the proper organization and use of cataloging sites like DVDAf, DVD Profiler, Excel spreadsheet, etc.

I only have 26 Blu-ray titles and no intention on letting it grow as big as my DVD collection(which is at over 2,600 and still growing), I've been much more selective with what I purchase on this format. However some of these

Re: What was/will be your 100th blu-ray?

I think I passed this number a while ago. As with DVDs, the initial purchases were fewer, more significant, and carefully chosen. But, with Blockbuster closing sales, I was able to switch out catalogue titles in a few major pushes. That, and the various intervening holidays (Christmas and birthday) tend to bring on quite a few at a time...

A quick glance shows my #100 to be the Night of the Demons remake.

Re: What was/will be your 100th blu-ray?

Blu-ray purchase #100 was Green Lantern: Emerald Knights (14 August 2011 at Target, $4.99 after a $5 coupon from Warner and a $10 Target gift card from PNC Points). However, my wife took several Blu-rays when she left and now my Blu library numbers less than 100. It's unlikely I'll hit 100 by year's end, though not out of the question entirely (depending on Black Friday sales).

I would roughly say: Charade bought during the previous Amazon's Criterion sale (I believe it was last Fall.)

You have a problem sir, but my hat's off to you!

I'm just over 150, with still some dvds to replace, and I can't even imagine there being 800 more films I would want to own.

Re: What was/will be your 100th blu-ray?

100 - Planet Hulk
200 - The Blues Brothers

I'm nowhere near as neurotic with my Blu-Rays as I was with DVDs. I use to time each 100th purchase to be something iconic. My 100th DVD was City Lights. 200 was Triumph of the Will. Etc. Now, I just buy whatever.

I'm closing in on 400 but could probably throw 100 of them out and not miss them.

My most recent milestone was 600, which was Jackass 3. I'm currently at 636. And I just got Jackass 3 back in April

Re: What was/will be your 100th blu-ray?

No clue on my 100th. I'm sure it came sometime in the 2nd half of 2007. My Blu-ray.com tracking says I have 911, but 814 SKU's? I assume that means 814 is the more relevant number.

That's what I figured. So the Die Hard collection is 4 movies, 1 SKU.

How does that handle TV sets? I find it hard to believe I have enough multi-title sets under one SKU., The Hitchcock set is a big one though.

Re: What was/will be your 100th blu-ray?

film aficionado breaks it down by titles and discs. I have 328 titles but 487 discs. So every disc is counted.

Re: What was/will be your 100th blu-ray?

No idea. It will probably be a dozen years before that happens. I only have 84. Nothing comes out on blu-ray that I really want. If it does, it doesn't have the same features as the dvd, so I don't even bother with it as it would be a waste of money. That's why I refuse to get the Star Trek movies on blu-ray. It doesn't have the same features nor the same cuts of the movies.

Also going to be hard to make 100 if you keep avoiding anything with DTS-HD MA.
