I didn't say it was stupid....just that it sounds stupid. I understand why it's there..but it's really unnecessary...THOUGH....it will boost some sales I bet. Dunno how much...but I'm sure it'll impact it.

There is absolutely nothing in this movie that would merit more than an R rating. The "uncensored" publicity surrounding the movie has been blown way out of proportion to the reality of what's actually depicted on screen.

A good film, but one that I'll wait for a significant drop before purchasing.

^ it's a Weinstein Co. film, when has one of their films with graphic content NOT had conflicts with the MPAA ??

The whole controversy comes down to one scene with an implication (not shown in any detail) that Gosling is performing oral sex on Michelle Williams for about 5 seconds. That's it.

But it's not even graphic. Any American Pie movie is considerably more explicit and obscene than anything you'll see here.

This is just yet another example of the MPAA's hypocrisy. You can show graphic, raunchy sex, and it's perfectly fine so long as you're supposed to laugh at it. But show the same thing (or less, in this case) in a serious context, and suddenly it's, "OH MY SWEET JESUS NO, PEOPLE CAN'T BE ALLOWED TO SEE THIS HORRIBLE OBSCENITY!!!!!"
Anyway, my point to this discussion is really just to warn that people planning to buy this "Uncut and Uncensored" movie hoping to get their rocks off with the mind-blowing hardcore sex scenes are going to be severely disappointed.
