Predator Question

Which Blu-Ray edition, of all the Blu-Ray editions of Predator in the world, has excellent PQ and is playable on a Region A player?

Re: Predator Question

The old release is better than the new release. I believe Fox controls this title everywhere in the world, so other regions are not going to offer different transfers.

Question: What the hell is your issue w/ asking the same question for a growing number of films you're asking about?

Lethal Weapon
Predator
Terminator

What next? Terminator 2? Hard Boiled?

What the hell is your issue with people looking to get questions answered on an internet forum? Seems like you think you own this forum, and only material that you think should be posted is allowed to be posted. Here's a tip for you. It wastes mroe of your time posting an asshole comment than it does to ignore a post. Hell, maybe think about posting a helpful post in the future. That way, you can actually contribute to this forum that you think you own.

I think the point is information is readily available in existing threads on this title. To start a new thread leads one to believe that the OP didn't make an effort to read what has already been written by members (which is common courtesy). If the OP wants additional information, then bump an existing thread with the new questions. I would say the courtesy runs both ways. To ignore what others have taken the time to share in the existing threads and expect members to repost the information is probably not appropriate either.

Re: Predator Question

Here's a mod note from a previous thread from the OP (bold and underlined by me):

Mod Note: You clearly haven't posted here much, even though you've been a member since 2004. We do want people to be descriptive in their thread titles, so other members know what the thread is about when they click on it. In addition, DVD Talk is not a replacement for Google, Bing, or any other search engine. If you have a question that can be quickly answered, such as when a certain title is being released on Blu-ray, it would behoove you to do a quick search online before posting the question here, especially if you're going to ask multiple times about different titles.

DVD Talk is a community, and we want people to be able to contribute. Posting multiple threads with vague titles asking for answers that could easily be answered by a quick online search is not productive. Thanks for your understanding.

I'm not trying to be an ass about this, but clearly from the OP previous conduct (looking at the number and type of threads he's started) and the fact moderators have asked him nicely in the past to cease this kind of conduct, the other member was not out of line (maybe could have been more polite) in asking the member to rethink the type of redundant thread topics/information that is readily available in existing threads or else where using google.
