Unfortunately, I missed this in theaters. It was only at my local theater for two weekends and then disappeared. Day one purchase for me.

Hopes this includes the 2 hour cut with more Tom Savini that Rodrigues mentioned.

If not Ill be satisfied if that stuff is still included as deleted scenes

Wal-Mart had a BD+DVD+DC exclusive for Predators. Possible they would have one for Machete too.

I wonder if the blu-ray will have a featurette describing the process of making Jessica Alba's computer-generated nudity. As in, she wasn't nude at all. Hugely disappointed to learn about this:

I still don't necessarily buy this report. It all seems to stem from the fact that she claimed she'd never do nudity, but since you don't see anything, it's not really nudity as far as I'm concerned.

My assumption -- because I definitely noticed she was naked in the movie and not in the trailer -- was that they added the underwear for the greenband trailer, and not vice versa, similar to how they turn blood black or brown.

I will be safe to assume, like almost every other Fox new release of this past year, a retailer will have the "+ DVD" edition available. Best Buy had Hot Tub Time Machine, Wal-Mart had Predators, it's up in the air who'll have it for Machete.

Expect English 5.1 audio (DTS-HD MA on BD) along with French and Spanish DD5.1 and English SDH, French and Spanish subtitles.

I don't remember RR explicitly stating there was going to be an extended cut.

I remember him mentioning the BD was going to contain a slew of deleted scenes, such as subplots and character deaths that he deleted specifically to keep the film at a manageable running time and to have characters alive for the (hopeful) sequel. But I never heard him mentioning specifically that the deleted footage was going to be integrated into the film.
