Honestly, what will they include?

Nolan isn't big on bonus features. Only Following, Memento, and Insomnia have audio commentaries (in unique fashion).

That leaves Batman Begins, The Prestige, The Dark Knight and Inception with a plate of "non-comphrensive" bonus features. Warner has had numerous opportunities to really make a home run on both Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, but they haven't and most likely never will. The Blu-ray set of Inception contains nearly three hours of bonus material, which isn't anything to sneeze at compared to most releases, but I just don't see Nolan going back to the well in terms of adding more extras. Warner, maybe, if they need to promote something; but I think this will be the "best" release of the film we will see on physical media.

Grabbed it for $17.99 @ Target. Fantastic price, and I dug the lenticular cover. A/V quality was awesome. I really loved Zimmer's score in DTS-HD.

Re: Inception- December 7th, 2010

I don't bite on many first release these days as I can wait for the prices to come down. But at 17.99 this means a copy for me and one for the kids to use in their laptops.

I just sampled the disc last night (I saw it at the movies). I usually favor older films that look great as show-off material but I have to admit at first blush this film looks absolutely great.

Did anybody else take a picture of that top and send it in? It was on the sticker on the slipcover. Well if not, here's what happens:

I recieved a text message saying "This is your final kick." Enter 528491 with the remote "while playing the special features disc to unlock a hidden digital comic."

I'm guessing this is separate from the comic that's already listed as a special feature, but I haven't tried it out yet.

Thanks for the heads up. I sent the pic and got nothing in return.

If you look at post #119, you'll see my response. The site actually doesn't even have the digital comic, but some of the featurettes that are on the BD. The digital comic is the same and you can watch it right after the first documentary on the second disc.

Ah thanks...that's sorta lame, the main goal was probably to get you to sign up for updates.

xage, when you buy all those editions, do you buy one to actually watch?

I see. Interesting that for someone who buys 3, 4, 5, 6, etc editions of a title, they don't want one of their own to "use".

Thanks for the pics as always.

Agreed, and the content that's there is actually rather good, too.

Re: Inception- December 7th, 2010

I'm pretty sure he was just joking. No one is going to spend $2.99 to rent a DVD for one night.

I do have one question for you xage. Do you actually keep all the different versions after you buy them for the pics or do you end up returning any of them? If you keep them, do you have one giant pic of your collection?

mattysemo247, seriously Im not joking. I havent opened yet my Inception blurays and just previewed the DVD I rented at Blockbuster kiosk (I guess its just my own weird ocd sh*t)

I keep them and dont return it. Actually I'm planning to revamped a pic of my 300 collection in a couple of weeks. You can also check my SAW collection each year it expands and the entire SAW collection keeps on being updated.

I would love a picture of how you display your collections around your place. If you ever posted that, I missed it.

Trust me, I look forward to each Saw release every year just to see your Saw collection expand. I'm sure your going to go bankrupt if they make more than one complete collection

Let us know when you do get updated pics of your collection. Make sure to upload them in the other thread.
