Double Dipping ?
I've been double dipping a lot lately, (the Beauty And The Beast blu-ray, Snow White blu-ray, etc.) and got to wondering. What are some films that you guys will buy over and over again, no matter how many times they come out. The Exorcist blu-ray just came out, so that will probably be one for me to get. And The Lion King when it comes out. What about you ?

Re: Double Dipping ?
Repurchasing a movie on a different format really isn't what double dipping means. Double dipping is when a studio re-releases a movie again on the same format, especially within a short period of time just to cash in.

Re: Double Dipping ?
.....how? I'm pretty sure the premise of the thread is to discuss movies that you will buy over and over. If the premise of his thread had been "this thread is about the definition of the term double dipping" then you might have a point, but it's not.
He used the wrong phrase. No biggie. Time to move on.

Re: Double Dipping ?
Is it really that hard to mentally replace the phrase "double dip" with "upgrade" rather than be snooty and annoying about it?

Re: Double Dipping ?

This thread is insane. As for the OP, I'll probably always purchase the Back to the Future trilogy, Psycho, Pulp Fiction, True Romance, Children of Men -- just to name a few.

Only one copy of Saw IV? I guess that was the worst one (I still haven't seen any of them- have the first 2 which I'll watch hopefully by Halloween.)
(Just noticed the 3-pack, so there's 2 Saw IV's).

While I agree with the terminology correction, I will offer an answer to the intent of the OP:
Serenity: DVD, HD DVD, DVD collector's edition, Blu-ray, iTunes
