Ah. That's why I don't know who they are. Mad Men sucks monkey, as did Firefly, and I've never heard Of 500 Days Of Summer. What's JGL ?

Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

Mad Men sucks? I think it's extremely well written and executed. Acting's top notch too.

If you don't know who she is, then you've never seen it and therefore shouldn't have an opinion of it, however contrary that opinion might be to the opinions of everyone that's actually seen the show. And I mean everyone.

Doesn't matter who they are. The argument was whether or not a a nerd could end up with a hot chick. The photo provides the evidence regardless of your knowledge of the couple in it.

Don't bother responding Snake, it makes you look worse than him. He is just trying to be "that guy". He watched Mad Men, but doesn't even recognize Hendricks? Come on

Recently I just don't buy movies unless I enjoyed it so much that it warrants it as I will watch it more than once. Last one was Iron man 2 and this is mine on day 1

How does me saying that I don't like a crappy, boring, badly written show make me "that guy" ? And the reason that I didn't recognise Christina Hendricks is that she doesn't look the same in real life as she does on the show. And Slop101, I have seen the show. It's horrible. Just because a bunch of people keep saying all the time it's one of the best shows on tv doesn't make it so. A lot of people like Godfather and Scarface, but they're boring, repetitive, and written like a 13 year old kid in junior high had a writing assignment and just decided to put in as much stereotypical nonsense as he possibly could. Like James Cameron with Avatar. Only in his case, he blatantly ripped off several movies that were much better written and produced.

Mod Note: A much better question would be what exactly this has to do with the Blu-ray release of Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. Since it seems to no longer have any bearing on that film or the Blu-ray, I'm going to say this line of conversation needs to stop in this thread. If someone wants to make a post about Mad Men, The Godfather, Avatar, or Scarface, they can do so in the appropriate forum.

Edit: Just saw the mod note, so I won't derail this any further.

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World remains my favorite movie of the year (Yes, even over Inception, The Social Network, and Toy Story 3)! And this Blu-Ray combo pack will be mine on Day 1! It's an extraordinarily great film, and although I know it will get little to no Oscar attention, it doesn't matter to me because Edgar Wright knows how to make fun movies.

By the way, have you seen the fan artwork that someone made for the movie? You can see it at the following link:

99% of Universal's Blu-rays are region free.
