MR. NOBODY blu-ray

The two best sci-fi films of the year are Inception and Mr. Nobody. Inception is great, but Mr. Nobody is such a more complex, interesting film. Both films present interesting concepts in a very entertaining manner. I wouldn't want to give anything away and it's best to not read too much about this film. Just buy it and enjoy this visually stunning movie! The film is directed by Jaco Van Dormael (the guy who did Toto le Heros and Le Huitieme Jour). And this film cost around $60 million to make. You can tell in each scene where the money went. The director used his money well! There is just too many visually amazing scenes in this movie to count. I thought I was watching a movie which cost $150 million!
If you like any of the following films, Mr. Nobody is a blind-buy:
The Fountain, Lovers of the Arctic Circle, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Donnie Darko, The Holy Mountain, Inception, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
The French blu-ray is of excellent video and audio quality. The English DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 rocks and the 1080p aspect ratio 2.39:1 is stunning!
The only problem is that blu-ray has forced French subtitles. The subtitles were not so distracting, but it's better not to have them forced. There is a making of and interview for extras - it's half in French and half in English. No English subtitles for anyone speaking French.
The blu-ray includes the long cut of the film and the short cut of the film. I only watched the long version. I'm curious to see how the movie changes with the short version.
Eventhough the back of the blu-ray says Region A, B, C, it's been confirmed that it was an editing mistake and it is only Region B.
MOVIE: 10
VIDEO QUALITY: 9.5
AUDIO QUALITY: 9.5
EXTRAS: 3
As amazing as the trailer already is, the trailer is only showing 1% of the amazing visual, trippy scenes that's in this film. From the trailer, there is no way to have known that this movie visually challenges any film directed by Michael Gondry, Jean Pierre Jeunet, Terry Gilliam, or David Fincher.

Re: MR. NOBODY blu-ray
I really don't understand the concept of forced subtitles. Is it cheaper for DVD/blu-ray companies to do that?
Either way, I haven't heard of any North American release of this film. So if it eventually comes to DVD or blu-ray, it would be at the end of 2011. Even if I rebuy the hypothetical blu-ray sans subtitles, it's still worth the money to buy the French blu-ray now - it's just around $30 to order it which is pocket change when it comes to such an amazing film!

I'm not hopeful of a US release, but perhaps something in the UK. Hell, I'd import it from anywhere as long as the transfer is good and there are no forced subs. I'm sure France won't be the only territory to get this film from.
The red case is pretty sweet though. Wish I could find a copy of the French import of Bright Star in the purple case

Re: MR. NOBODY blu-ray
Here's a couple clips of some of the Mars scenes (sort of some spoilers) in the film and a clip of the beginning of the film (not such a spoiler). There are a few spoilers in there, so if you want things to remain a total surprise don't watch the clips. If you have already decided to buy the blu-ray, don't watch them. If you are on the fence about buying the blu-ray, then take a peak:
