I haven't ordered the Battle Royale Blu-ray but I ordered a couple other Blu-rays from Amazon.co.uk this weekend which were shipped on Monday and I received them yesterday. I used the cheapest shipping option so I don't know how they got here so quick. It usually takes me 2-3 weeks to get mail from the US!

Friend of mine in MA still hadn't received her copy yesterday so she emailed Amazon and they issued her a full refund. The BD turned up in her mailbox today. Free Battle Royale :shrug:

Echoing doctorthodt's friend, this is how life goes. Directly after writing Amazon and requesting a replacement copy (which I know is impossible, in this case) or a refund, I order one copy from Arrow just in case.
Emails received today in this exact order, Amazon: responds to my query, Arrow: shipped out this morning, and Amazon: processes my refund... Meanwhile...in my mailbox today...there is of course a not-so-mysterious package from Amazon.co.uk! It's a bit dinged up around the edges and has a noticeable scratch on the spine, but otherwise in pretty good shape -- suits me well for complaining! :lol: I'm tempted to find out the number, but I think I'll wait for my Arrow shipment to see if it's in slightly better condition on the outside, and decide which one I want to keep... |
