Re: Hulu Plus heading to Blu-ray players!
I'll be waiting for Hulu Plus to hit the 360 as I don't want to pay for the Playstation Plus subscription.
Based off the content Hulu has lined up currently for the Plus service, I'm not giving them an ounce of my money. If they're able to get more (ahem, cable) networks and studios on board, I'll be down; if not, no go.
Going back to the Netflix, I remember when they had us all fill out surveys if we'd pay $10 a month more for HBO content. That I would gladly pay $10 a month for as there's actual quality content. Hulu Plus? As of now, no, especially since I own most of the content that is quality based already.

Yep...yet another thing that's odd about the bolding in the original post.
I'm a bit surprised at how many other people have responded to my question. I have no ulterior motive here...I just thought it was weird that the thread title referred to Blu-ray players getting Hulu Plus and then most of the Blu-ray players in the announcement weren't bolded.

Re: Hulu Plus heading to Blu-ray players!
I'm finishing up a three month free trial of Plus this week.
I get it thru my Sony 780.
My opinion is, it stinks.
I can't find any setting that shows what the resolution is. All the criterion video looks like 480i at best.
Even current tv shows like Terra Nova look like crap.
Just like TV there is a commercial every 8 minutes. The commercials are unwatchable as far as pic quality.
There is no way that I can figure to rewind back to a segment before a commercial break.
If I paid for this I would request a refund. It's just awful. also I cant find subtitles.

I wonder how much longer this thing will last. A paid service with ads?! And still things you can't get on tv that you can on a PC. No thanks.

They have been around since 2007 so that's already quite an achievement especially during these rough economic times. Further, Hulu now offers exclusive programming that is newly created. People pay for XBox Live Gold service and that has ads... heck, MS actually convinces people that paying $50 a year on top of your Netflix/Hulu/cable bill is a good thing.

They require the credit card for two reason: a) to make sure your not a bot and b) hoping that you won't cancel in time if you dislike the service and they get paid for a little bit...
