Isn't that strange? Wouldn't you think that the people doing the Bluray would be the same ones who'd be doing the DVD?
Why don't they include proper subtitles?
I can't help but think that it must have been a mistake and that they might cover that up by saying it's supposed to be this way (if they are making a statement at all).

OK people, only their first 2 releases were interlaced, they got the point after that.

Yeah, but they screwed up the subtitles on Fist of Legend. I can handle a 1080i transfer, but to not include the better subtitles that were on the dvd is inexcusable.

Did anyone pick-up Hard Boiled? Is it worth the upgrade?

They supposedly stuck dudbtitles on their Fong Sai Yuk blu as well, which is dumb becuz the DVD had actual subs.

Yes I actually bought this. PQ isnt great but AQ is quite good. It uses the same transfer (but now in 1080p) and once again features dubtitles. it also dumps a couple extra features from the DVD which is kind of a shame. I'd hold onto the DVD until the blu drops to $10 or less.
