Yeah, just like all the other titles on that list that got dates.
Anyway, lets hope they dont screw this up.

I'm seeing Charlie's Angels and James and the Giant Peach on that date, but not the Breakfast Club yet.
I'm sure it will be listed in the next couple of days if Universal announced it.

It would be brutal if we didn't get all of them and I would assume Sixteen Candles will make it to BD, but not as sure about Weird Science.

Undoubtedly all of Hughes' films will make it - especially Ferris Bueller. I'd be more concerned with the likes of the smaller films like Uncle Buck, Planes, Trains & Automobiles or Curly Sue.

Yeah Ferris has been out on BD for a while. I was a bit annoyed to say the least when PT&A came out an SE DVD last year and no BD accompanied it.
I'll be picking this up on Blu for sure, even though I already have the HD-DVD.

Extras just listed at blu-ray.com:
Universal Studios Home Entertainment has announced The Breakfast Club for release on Blu-ray on August 3. When it was released 25 years ago, this movie, written and directed by John Hughes, quickly became the definitive teen film of the 1980s and remains as moving and poignant today as it was 25 years ago.
Special features include:
Feature commentary with Judd Nelson and Anthony Michael Hall
Sincerely Yours: a 12-part documentary with Judd Nelson, Anthony Michael Hall, Ally Sheedy and other cast members as they reflect on the making of The Breakfast Club. Revisit these unforgettable characters and hear filmmakers such as Amy Heckerling and Diablo Cody discuss the cultural resonance of the film.
The most convenient definitions – The origins of the Brat Pack: cast members, journalists and film historians discuss the "Brat Pack" label and its impact on pop culture and the group's careers.

I would have purchased this without the features, but I would have been extremely disappointed. Wonderful news now that they'll be on there.
By the way, I think the Flashback dvds were more of a gimmick to get those 3 titles out. I'd be surprised if Sixteen Candles doesn't also get a blu release, and if Weird Science does too, I'd still expect there to be no box-set again.
If the cover of the blu says Flashback or something like that, then I'd assume that I might be wrong, but still not totally convinced they'll box them up again.
