Vengeance Trilogy won't play
My wife bought me the Vengeance Trilogy on blu-ray for my birthday and it won't play on my Sony S301. Anybody else experience this and is there any way to fix it?

Update your firmware.
If it is up to date, it's time to buy a new Blu-ray player or wait for Sony to get around to maybe fixing it.

What will the powers that be think of next? Increasingly FREQUENT changes generally speaking isn't business saavy IMHO. I sincerely hope the public will rebel against them. But that's not gonna happen is it?!

Exactly the reason why I own a PS3. Best Blu-Ray player I could find, plus, although the idea of needing to update is stupid, I can easily update the player as necessary.....wirelessly.

pretty much why I love the PS3...also...about 5-9 games that I think are the only thing worth it, exclusive wise. Most of the multi platform tend to look better on the 360.

I updated my player and the movies work. I am looking into getting a new blu-ray player. i have heard good things about the $78 BR player at wal-mart.

Well I just got a chance to watch my set and of course started with Sympathy for Mr Vengeance and what do ya know... it freezes up and skips starting at 1:40:13 and continues to do so for the duration. Anyone else having a problem with this? The disc itself is clean and flawless and the rest of the movie played perfect. I emailed Palisades Tartan to hopefully get a replacement disc without having to go back to best buy
