No worries dude, I was just curious more than anything. I'm not here to tell anyone how to spend their money, that's their business. My view has always been as long as people take care of themselves (mentally and physically) and don't dig themselves into debt with their habits or hobbies, then by all means enjoy. I mean that's why this site and these threads exist after all.

This is one of those cases where the expected excellence of the presentation- inclusive of the different cuts, extras, and packaging- overcame my general indifference to the main content enough to justify a purchase.
I don't think my opinion will likely change much from my initial one years ago (not awful but more like "meh"). And I have been curious to see it again.

OTOH, a higher quality source, and better tech to deliver it than I had years back when I first saw it, may bump it up enough to make it a worthwhile addition to the library.

which Screamers is this? checked IMDb and didn't see a 2016 movie. i thought you meant the 1995 Peter Weller gem that just came out. i had it in HD from Vudu, but with some extras, i'll take this on blu...

As you mentioned, 1995 film was released last week on Blu-Ray via Shout! Factory.

The 2016 film I ordered is a Found Footage Horror Film
