It's probably the best sci-fi/horror movies of the 1950s

It was well acted and Don Siegel kicked ass as director. The original ending was changed at the request of the movie studio, so it's the biggest flaw. Otherwise, great movie and an obvious double feature with the 78' version. Don't think you'll be disappointed.


Anyways, this is the only thing I picked up during the Criterion sale at B & N

Was bound and determined to wait until Ant-Man and the Wasp dropped in price to pick it up but caved when BB sent me a "Mystery Coupon". Turned out it was only $5 (again) but I got AM&TW for $17.99 (I know, BF it'll be $16.99 but BB didn't have anything else I wanted, so...)

Also picked up Arachnophobia and *batteries not included at The Exchange with trade-in cash from previous deals.

The film is told as a flashback. The "now" bookend was studio imposed and not originally there.

Since today is the BOGO sale at Dollar General stores, right after church i bought these movies for blu ray from Dollar General earlier

Those three are old movies that were taking up space anyway the spinner rack thing for blu ray movies

I usually don't buy anything after Halloween, instead putting it on my Christmas list. But the early access to BF deals and an impulse purchase at Target had me put off that deadline.
