Was $10.77 shipped for days and days and days and maybe even weeks and I finally decided to buy it. Within an hour of buying it the price jumped up to $34.85 shipped. It's gonna be a little bit until it's in stock but I can wait

Pre-ordered from Amazon
Other than pre ordering Nightbreed and waiting for Twin Peaks to drop in price, I'm done for the year.

It's still $9.96 on Amazon but temporarily out of stock. I placed a order. I have the first one on hd-dvd. Will give the 2nd one away to my brother.

Bought this for $90 bucks with shipping and tax with blowitoutahere's 4th of July sale. I hope it doesn't come in a shitty package that would damage the box.
That's it! I've threaten this before but I'm done buying blu rays for the year

I love old movies, but couldn't stand Breakfast at Tiffany's. I watched an hour, took it out, sold it the next day.

When I watched it, I hated almost every minute of it. I only stuck with it so that I could know I gave it a fair shake. Hated the main character...until the last couple scenes.
Sold the disc off immediately- but the ending of the film stayed with me.
Got around to watching it again on Bd a year or two back and can honestly say now I loved it. It clicked.
Not saying that would happen to you- just that I know exactly where you are coming from. Going in knowing it's a character piece rather than a "what happens next?" plotter, I think helped quite a bit. The first watch was very frustrating because it never seemed to be going anywhere.
That and the lead character was an infuriating twat.
