Very excited for this movie, one of my favorites and I never managed to grab the HD DVD.
Brian De Palma's Carlito's Way will be making its way to Blu-ray Disc for the first time on May 18.
The film starring Al Pacino, Sean Penn and Penelope Ann Miller made its high definition debut in October 2007 on HD DVD. A direct-to-video sequel, Rise to Power, was also released on HD DVD but is not scheduled for a Blu-ray treatment at this time.
The Blu-ray version of Carlito's Way will arrive in 2.35:1 1080p video and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. D-BOX Motion Code will be included on the disc.
Bonus features are all carryovers as follows:

Universal has priced Carlito's Way on Blu-ray with an SRP of $26.98. We will share cover art and the Amazon.com pre-order link when available

I would like this and I'm hoping for Serpico someday although I believe that it is still in Paramount's control.

Great movie! Sean Penn was awesome. The first time i saw it few years ago i couldn't believe it was him.
I hope Scarface will be will released this year, so i can finally retire my DVD version.
