I knew they were planning on releasing this to Blu, but wasn't sure when. Thought maybe I had missed the release until I saw the date. I would pre-order it, but I doubt it will go up much between now and then.

I ordered the DVD from Amazon a couple of days ago and received it today. Of course it's being released on blu-ray now...-ohbfrank-

Of course, depending on how much I like it, I may still upgrade.

Glad I never got around to getting this on DVD; I was hesitant because it's on a DVD-R.

It was released as a DVD-R on Amazon, then a short time later wide release on an "official" DVD at retailers like Best Buy, and now the "official" Blu-ray.

i'm gonna have to watch this again before I buy. I didn't like it that much (just found it mildly amusing) when I saw it but wanna give it another shot to see if my opinion improves. Here's hoping.

I have the DVD-R, the DVD, and the Soundtrack. Obviously I'll upgrade to Blu. I found it to be very original, fun, and great for something to throw on when you don't have time for an entire movie.

For what it's worth, same reaction, but I've grown to really love it after a couple of repeat viewings. Will definitely be getting this.

I remember hearing that both DVD releases, the Amazon exclusive and the one that was released to othere retailers, were DVD-R.

Hahahaha! I wish! No, I'm just at the party near the Purple Pimp. That was hs house and it was already decorated like that. Art department barely touched it for Dr Horrible's steadicam walk through... weird haha.

Didn't realize there was a proper DVD version of this... I got it on itunes, the soundtrack from Amazon and will get this for sure. (I do have a DVD version... not sure if it's pressed or -R)

My Best Buy broke Street Date and I picked mine up from there today. Going to watch it tonight, after the Series Finale of 24. It came with the Captain Hammer: Be Like Me Comic under the plastic on the back of the Blu-ray, obscuring the UPC. Comes in a different type of Eco-Case, not quite as bad as the ones with the cut-out portion, but not as sturdy as an actual case. The sticky stuff they used on the back to attach the comic was awful and way too plentiful. They had to manually enter it in (because the UPC was covered up by the comic), so I think that's why it didn't register that it wasn't supposed to be out tomorrow.
