Transformers 2 - Big Screen Edition or Standard??
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen – 2-Disc Big Screen Edition
or
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen 2-Disc Special Edition
I can not decide which one to buy. At first I thought it switching between “IMAX” and standard size would bug me but after watching The Dark Knight it wasn’t so bad. I would really like your guy’s opinion on this.

Well, its unlikely you'll find many that have both versions and can give a comparison opinion.
I myself got the big screen one. I like when it switches to the IMAX stuff, plus the cover is much cooler looking.

The IMAX scenes are really cool in the Big Screen Edition and (IMO) are really the only reason to buy it.

Big Screen Edition definitely. Well worth it just for watching those scenes alone. Now all you need is to play it on a big screen tv and wow...damn

If I have all the correct information during the IMAX scenes it switches from the original aspect ratio of the film to the IMAX size which themselves are the correct aspect ratio or at least close to it. (right?)
I guess if this is the size the director shot the scenes I’d rather it switch between aspect ratios instead of it being cropped off. I just wish they had a feature to turn the IMAX scenes on or off.
