Saw about a half-dozen copies just now on the shelf. Both Amazon and Best Buy's website say 2/9/10.

I believe it was $19.99 on the sticker. I didn't try to buy one.

Their site says $17.99 though.

I think i will be keeping my pre order with amazon its only 13.99 through amazon still.

Given the history of Lionsgate catalog titles like this, I'd guess it would only be a matter of a month or two before that happens. Plus that will give ample time for the reviews to come out (which, again, is key for LG catalog titles... some aren't even worth the upgrade vs. DVD).

Very tempting at that price but then I remind myself that I haven't even opened the SE DVD I bought a few years ago yet.

That's funny. I work at Best Buy here in Goodyear, AZ and that little error didn't happen. I know it happened with The Monster Squad back in November (a worthy upgrade, by the way) but not this time.

Is this OOP or close to OOP or is there another edition coming out?

I checked Amazon and only a 3rd party seller had it plus I could not find it at Best Buy and the ones I saw listed at Ebay were Canadian issues

The Lionsgate edition is now OOP but it will be re-released by Olive Films later on.

If you're on the fence about the Canadian blu - just checked my Canadian Running Man blu with the specs from the back cover at dvdempire.com - looks to be the exact same. Same art, no French, same specs. Just different logos.

Most likely it will be the same transfer with no bonus features (not that the supplements on the Lionsgate disc are anything special).

Wow, Olive took over from Lionsgate or did Lionsgate buy up Olive? For that price it better come fully loaded. I own the Lionsgate disc, but don't remember if it was loaded with features or not. I paid $7 for it brand new.

Olive took over the rights to the Republic Pictures catalog as Lionsgate's rights expired.

Gotcha. I wonder if Olive is going to give that new crop it acquired some added TLC. That would be awesome if they did.

It'll be interesting to see what Olive puts out as we'll see Cujo, The Monster Squad, The Running Man, and other films Lionsgate previously released to the format all within the first two months of 2013.

So now when does the True Lies Blu-ray come out?
