Shouldn't be an issue. The movie's release date is April 30. That starts at midnight. :)

What? I didn't say I was using it for something else, I wanted to know if it's possible to use them for the movie on Thursday night/Friday morning.

Can anyone confirm if Amazon's copies come with movie cash?

If so, how do you use it? Is it something you have to mail in for? I've never really used these movie cash thingies before.

I'm considering dropping the money to see it in the theaters so I figure I might as well buy the Blu-ray if I'll already be spending the money.

there's a site for it, you put in the code that's inside the case and you get to print out your ticket.

Thanks. And from the forum on Amazon's product page, it looks like people have definitely been getting the movie cash version from Amazon. So I guess I'll give it a shot!

The way theatres input those special midnight screenings on the night before the movie opens, those ticket sales are tabulated and go on thursdays reciepts. All theatre chains handle the midnight sales in the same manner.

Just a question, was Nightmares movie cash dated for opening day for sure? I only ask because last months clash of the titans movie cash wasnt valid till the second weekend.

I went on opening day and used the movie money. Make sure to go to the website to verify that your theater accepts it.

I forgot that NOES takes a super long time on my player too. Who knows why. I have the most up to date version of my firmware.

The remake was the biggest piece of shit/slap in the face to original fans I've seen, and I like alot of remakes...

Am I the only one who enjoyed the remake? Before it came out I figured it was going to be horrible, but I truly did enjoy it and I think Jackie Earle Haley did a great job in the role. Better than Englund? Not even close, but pretty damn good.

I'll have to rent this on Tuesday before I decide to buy. For some reason, I'm sure I'll enjoy this unless it's truly as horrible as everyone is making it out to be.

I didn't "hate" it but it just felt like a generic horror movie... nothing special. I really have no desire to buy this movie.

How would you compare it to the Friday the 13th (remake)?

That's how I felt when I saw the remake theatrically, but it was a tougher slog the second time through.

I actually liked the Friday the 13th remake quite a bit.

F13 (remake) was a lot of goofy fun. not a masterpiece by movie standards or horror standards, but eminently rewatchable with nice kills and overall sense of fun.

NoES (remake) was pure dreck. slow and plodding with not one ounce of creativity or originality. it was honestly a terrible movie- written and acted. it took the original and made its' iconic character of Freddy boring beyond compare.

I had a blind buy battle between this and Splice. I hope I made the right decision in going with this one as it's on it's way from Amazon already.

Oh, please! Friday the 13th was just making fun of the series. They basically sat down and were like what's Friday the 13th known for? Tits and drugs? Okay lets put that in the movie and do it to death. Also, lets not actually make it a remake but more of some random addition to the rest of the series and call it a remake. Friday the 13th is my favorite series of horror films and yet this one didn't do the original or the original sequels any justice. I mean just the beginning where a group of teenagers are walking through the woods looking for weed made the movie absolutely horrible.

NOES wasn't the best but it added things to the character of Freddy that had really only been touched upon in the previous films. It gave background to him which had been touched upon in Freddy's Dead, yet it wasn't done as stupidly as it was done in Freddy's Dead, it was much more serious. Granted they did use some of the same deaths as in the original and that wasn't really necessary but whatever. I liked it.
