If I got to Target and all of the slipcases are gone, it there any way to identify the versions with the history channel doc?

The 3-Disc (actually 4-Disc) version comes in a thicker than normal Blu-Ray case.

As they regularly do, Target really screws up with their exclusive releases.
The 4 disc version will weigh slightly more obviously, but few can really feel the difference I imagine. |

i applaud roland emmerich for basically making a $200 million dollar demo disc that i can throw on every once in a while for certain scenes.... I tried watching this again last night and damn was that was hard.

Never found any copies with slipcovers and it was hard to judge their weight in those heavy plastic cases. Took a risk on a copy that looked like it had been re-shrink wrapped. Just got around to opening it. Success!!
So, you might try looking for copies that don't have perfectly sealed shrinks. It's a method that also worked for Inglourious Basturds. |

Does anyone have a slipcover for the 3 disc Blu Ray 2012, Target took them off and threw them out and i really want one for my naked blu ray case.

Did anyone else notice that the image quality on the 2012 blu-ray looks the same as DVD video quality? This is definitely my first blu-ray that did not have impressive video quality.

Sure you didn't get a DVD? All comments and reviews I've seen (and from my personal experience) have stated that while the movie's content isn't the greatesst, the video/audio presentation was impressive.
