So... how about we start guessing the upcoming titles?

1. The Leopard
2. The Red Shoes
3. M?

Re: Happy New Year from Criterion

A lot going on in there.
The only ones I recognize right off are The Red Shoes, Che, Paris Texas, The Leopard and M.
Could the motorcycle be The Darjeeling Limited maybe? I hope.

Re: Happy New Year from Criterion

Could the motorcycle/devil thing be Ang Lee's "Ride with the Devil," that civil war movie from 1999?

Don't mess with my heart. Even though it's my least wanted Wes Anderson film, I'd take it. Don't see Fox ever going back to release it on Blu-ray.

Well I saw a post somewhere by someone saying they were at a screening or something and Wes Anderson claimed to be working on a Criterion DVD and Blu-Ray for it. But then again this is the interweb so who knows if it's true.

Re: Happy New Year from Criterion

Wow, I totally did not pick up on the red desert. Nice I still have the BFI disc.

What's the pitcher of liquid?

Could the "Hotel" sign mean Vivra sa vie?

I'm guessing Bigger Than Life - there's a very dramatic sequence involving a pitcher of milk.

Probably!

EXCELLENT! Hopefully I guessed right, and Ang Lee's Ride with the Devil will be on Criterion BD.

Darjeeling + "Hotel" Chevalier? Maybe?
