I didn't see it mentioned in the last few pages of the thread (Cat People HD DVD owner here ), but the front page of this forum mentioned that Luc Besson's The Extraordinary Adventures of Adele Blanc-Sec has just been released on BD. I had become interested in the comic a year or so ago when I heard about the film and how it hadn't been theatrically released in the U.S. I made a mental note of it and kind of figured I'd have to buy an import or something. Not that the trailer floored me or anything, but the buzz seemed pretty positive. But now that Shout has actually released it domestically, I think I'm going to have to suck it up and pay new-release prices for this one.

It sucked, but I'll pick it up anyway just for the sake of having complete Besson. Didn't want to spend money importing.

If you can, watch it beforehand. I was really disappointed with it. Luckily, when I watched it the Shout Factory bluray wasn't scheduled to be released yet. I would have blind bought it if I hadn't watched it.

I really wish they would make this cover into a poster. I'd gladly hang it on my wall:
