Hmmm... I think this is the first time the Miss Bliss episode are being released. I'll have to buy it for that. Hopefully I can sell my College Years set to make money to pay for this.

I hope Shout releases Conan the Barbarian (1984)to fix the crappy Universal disc that's out there right now.

That Saved By The Bell set sounds awesome. I was a huge fan of the show throughout my childhood. I bought a couple of the dvd's when I was in my 20's and I couldn't connect with the show the way I did when I was younger. It's tempting, but I may have to pass.

Holy shit!! Ten to Midnight!! Fuck yeah!!

Who the heck are they going to interview for the extras? Andrew Stevens?

Bronson, Golan, J. Lee Thompson are all dead. Even the writer is dead. I guess Lisa Eilbacher could be someone since she played Bronson's daughter.

I'm game also for Urban Legend, Candyman, Critters, SWF and Starman.

Wow, some good titles coming in the Fall and Winter.

I'm hoping that Starman gets the audio commentary with Carpenter and Bridges that's on my Australian DVD. It's the only one out there that has it.

Now Shout Factory just needs to lower the freaking price for Creepshow.

It's $34 for the regular edition. That was the same price as the now sold out Limited edition.

and you can't order off the Shout website as a pre-order thinking they will drop the price later. Shout bills you right away.

I'll have to wait until Amazon drops it.

It's way too high and it's only one disc.

I don't own any of the Creepshow editions but no way I would pay that. I like Creepshow 2.

--------

Candyman
Starman
Critters

I would be hella excited if the announcement was for 4K.

When these drop to $10 I might *yawn*

The only Shout disc that I've seen drop under $10 in the last 2-3+ years was Mad Max.

You'll be waiting a very very long time thinking any of these will go that low.

and Shout has said on their social media pages that they don't think 4K UHD has a big enough market for a small label like them. So they have no plans to go into it.

re: The One and Only Shout! Studios (and Scream Factory!) Blu-ray Thread

I knew purchasing the existing Starman Blu Ray last month was a mistake. However I paid less than 10 bucks for it so I'll likely upgrade if they put out a good disc.

Candyman is gonna be a wait and see if Shout or Arrow did it better scenario. But the Shout release is looking pretty good so far.

I've never seen any of the Critters movies, despite being aware of them as far back as 1989 when I was 5 years old and distinctly remember seeing the vhs cover on the shelf at the videostore.

I'll likely keep my Obsession disc from Arrow.

Other than that I don't remember liking the Urban Legend movies all that much and I haven't seen 10 To Midnight or Screamers although I've heard good things about them. Not a super exciting slate of releases. It's starting to feel like the Scream arm of Shout is getting close to scraping the bottom of the barrel when it comes to viable releases. I wouldn't mind if their Shout Select line got more focus as its been the more exciting of the 2 recently.

Critters is super low budget and I recall quite campy.

The 1st 2 movies were actually released in theaters, but the other two were straight to video.

Yeah, the $15 range is about as good it will probably get for most of these. And now that $40 seems to be their new standard price for anything desirable, I would expect that to go up to $20.

Kind of a *meh* slaye for me.

The only must-buy there is Candyman. It might be down for Sleepwalkers and The Craft, though.

Definitely in for
Candyman
The Craft
Popstar (Andy Samberg)
Backbeat

Few others I may grab at some point. If Critters had been a 2 pack would have picked it up for sure.

re: The One and Only Shout! Studios (and Scream Factory!) Blu-ray Thread

Just bought Obsession from Arrow during their last sale. Ain’t that the way it goes...

Twilight Time already had put out 10 to Midnight. Makes me wonder if a bunch of other stuff will get picked up by other labels and better editions will come out. So not to even bother buying from them.
