Nothing.

Already picked up Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz at BB a few weeks back. And nothing else screams purchase for me, so I'll just likely add Pierrot Le Fou, Star Trek First Contact and Wallace & Gromit to my Netflix queue.

Right now, the only thing I have ordered b/c I can't wait for it is Pierrot Le Fou.

Will eventually get both Star Trek box sets, when they are cheaper. Will netflix Observe & Report.

Sessa17, as a fan of classic cinema, you should really invest in the region-free Blu-ray of Sunrise. It's one of the great films of all time, and the screencaps look very nice. See post #16 in this thread. The package also includes commentary track, documentary, and 68-page booklet.

Re: What Blu-ray Discs are you getting on 09.22.09...?

Already have reserved and completely paid for:
Star Trek The Original Series: Season Two
Star Trek: The Next Generation Motion Picture Collection

Now I just wait on a Season 3 announcement to finish my TOS BD collection!

Still debating on if I'm going to get this one now or wait for later:
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles - The Complete Second Season

I loved the show, and while I still have plenty of credit left at Moviestop, with it being canceled, I'm not feeling any need to buy it right away to show my support (unlike with Chuck, where I am anxiously awaiting a S2 BD release)....

You have no idea how much I would love to. I have a PS3 for my Blu-Ray player. I can't allow myself to get a Blu-Ray that plays all-regions, the same way I never got an all-region DVD-player. I buy too much as it is, if I had access to all the amazing Blu-Rays from around the world, I would be single & likely homeless from the bebt I would accumulate. Out of region Blus are just way too expensive & if I was able to play them, I couldn't resist buying them.

I just saw the Fox DVD earlier this year for the 1st time in awhile, and I'm really not in the mood to watch it again so soon... but you talked me into it!

Sessa, it's region-free, meaning it will play in any BD player, including the PS3.

Re: What Blu-ray Discs are you getting on 09.22.09...?

Nothing this week (at least from this list). I may order some of those Studio Canal Blu-ray's from the U.K. if the reviews are good - I especially want Ran and The Elephant Man.

Eventually, however, I will get these:

-Hot Fuzz
-Pierrot Le Fou
-Shaun of the Dead
-Star Trek The Original Series: Season Two
-Star Trek: The Next Generation Motion Picture Collection (Maybe)
-Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles - The Complete Second Season (this one I have pre-ordered from WBShop but I don't expect it to ship until October)
-Wallace & Gromit: The Complete Collection

Observe and Report and eventually Terminator: SCC s2, Star Trek Next Gen movie collection and possibly Hot Fuzz.... that's a much lower priority since I have the HD DVD.

Likewise, but I'll eventually bite because of the lossless audio.
