Comments on Blue Thunder on Blu?
About to play it tonight, but just wondering if anyone else has comments about Blue Thunder's video and audio on Blu before I watch it.

Haven't seen Lakeview Terrace as a complete movie, but it's on the top of my list in the next month or so. If it has Sam J. in it, I blind buy the movie anyway.
Waiting for the price to be right, though. Lakeview Terrace has spectacular video quality from the several portions I've seen on a 60"+ plasma television of a friend of mine. Definitely get it. The movie seems like a keeper as to the movie plot and acting itself and has crisp video (but not too crisp so it looks over-sharpened). Audio I'm not sure on as I wasn't paying much attention to it.

Yeah I'll watch pretty much anything with SLJ too...I'm sure he'll get pissed and go off on someone, at least lol. Watched Die Hard 3 last weekend so I'm keeping the Sam train goin.
Have fun with Blue Thunder, haven't seen that since I was a kid!

Got Blue Thunder for around 10 bucks a couple of weeks ago but haven't watched it yet. I read on another site that the video and audio are better than expected for a 25 year old movie.

It's decent looking for an older film. The video maintains the film-look and doesn't appear over-DNR'd, so I was happy with it.

Blue Thunder looks pretty good. For $10, it was certainly worth it. While there was film grain noticeable in darker scenes such as inside an office--but night scenes were relatively clear--the overall movie looked great.
