That's lame. I'd be pretty pissed off at them if they pulled that crap with me.

What was the error Gizmo?

They listed several features as being in HD when they were not. A sticker was created to cover up the error.

^yeah and it was about my most anticipated movie to own but I didn't want to go through the hassle of shipping it back to them and not have the movie for a week or so. For $10.99 I can't complain too much but it does suck. They didn't even have any intension's of replacing it, just a refund.

Post your UPC Codes to see if there is a difference.

James :)

Ok these are the three codes that show up

ISBN 1-4198-7718-6

8/////8392904938////7

Then under the bar there is another set of numbers
3000024285

different packaging as this isn't missing the DC, it just doesn't include it. I would guess it's different but don't know.

I had my copy pre-ordered over a month ago; I think when the price was still 19.99 on Amazon.

My Digital Copy version matches what Bishop wrote above.

EDIT: Only the slipcover mentions the Digital Copy, the actual case underneath doesn't so I imagine that's why they match.

Good. So, go to Target and buy Slip Cover Terminator. Return the next day with your Amazon order and return it. Boom - you get the Slip/DC version :)

The second one is the UPC Code. DD has the same one listed:
UPC 883929049387

I'm surprised some of you are getting so worked up about a Digital Copy and a Cardboard Slipcover. I got the 3 disc version, but honestly if I had only received the 2-disc version as some of you say you received, it would have been no big deal at all. The BD itself is really cheap at $15.99, so for me it's no biggie.

The slipcover is really shiny though.

I'm able to sell my DCs for $3 each to either a friend or online peep so $16 - $3 = $13. And the Slip cover would go with my T1/T2 that have slip covers.

oOo! Shiny!

I ordered two copies from amazon a couple months ago. Got them in the mail today one of the 3-disc and one of the 2-disc... WTF.

Luckily the second copy was for my parents who could careless about special features let alone digital copies.

Except for me of course, who like a sucker bought it because it was cheap on Amazon and of course can't bare to be without a piece of the series on disc. DVDTalk OCD strikes again!

Everyone I talked to, in real life, thought the first half was boring as hell. I was falling asleep.

Still bought it hoping my unlikely wish that the director's cut makes the first half better.

I wandered into sleep around four times during the first half myself. I thought this supposed DC was going to be longer than just three minutes.

Grabbed my copy at Target today for $14.99 plus tax(love that $5 off coupon). They had nothing but the 3 disc version with slipcover.

I lucked out at Best Buy. I preordered for in-store pick up and wasn't able to make it until yesterday. Imagine my surprise when the girl at customer service pulled out my order and it was the Limited Edition Endoskull version. I managed to keep my mouth shut and not give her any indication that it was the wrong version. Not bad for $15.99.

I preordered Terminator Salvation at Amazon a couple months ago and I should got the two-disc version. WTF...

Re: Terminator Salvation Dec 1st

Anyone get their copy sent in a cardboard envelope? It was very flimsy and the rough paper scratched the hell out of the 'shiny' slip cover.

philip74 12-03-09 01:57 PM

Re: Terminator Salvation Dec 1st

i`ll complain about that if i actually receive my copy with the slipcover :)

Re: Terminator Salvation Dec 1st

Amazon is sending me another one, but I don't really have much trust that it'll be the digital copy version. I'd better scope out some B&M stores tonight to make sure I get a copy.
