As far as I could tell, HD.

Who cares if it's 4:3, just as long as it's OAR? I thought that was the whole point of this forum? (I'm more concerned if it's actually funny)

Very true. However, it would be nice if they changed the OAR to 16:9 :)

I don't mind OAR either, though I would like 16:9. I was glad they did Venture Bros. 16:9 and on blu....it looks friggin' amazing.

Is Family Guy in 16:9 yet on Fox? I know Simpsons (and King of the Hill) had changed over.

Is this going to air on television first, like the last one did?

No Family Guy is not, but Cleveland Show is which I find odd. Not sure about American Dad.

American Dad isn't yet either. But as mentioned, if The Cleveland Show is 16:9 I don't understand why MacFarlane's better, more sucessful shows haven't changed over.

I'd guess it's because a lot of the animation elements are used over and over in those shows, and the older shows were all created in 4:3. It's weird that anything new being released would be given the 4:3 treatment, though. Then again, HBO still shows movies in 4:3 pan-and-scan, which boggles my mind.

Family Guy isn't currently HD, just SD 4:3. It will be going HD with its 9th season premiere on Sept 26th, 2010. By that time it will be even less funny than it is now and nobody will be watching, HD or not.

I kinda doubt that.

Can't tell you where I saw it, but let me say that this is VERY FUNNY! It is much better than the first one... Highly recommended!

I thought it was great as well. Some jokes were great and some were just okay. Still liked it better than the first. Hopefully the third will be even better.

I'm waiting until Saturday to watch it when my dad and brother are over, but I watched just the first 6 minutes and had to stop, I was in such pain and had tears in my eyes from laughing so hard.

Can't wait to own it on BD.

Is the digital copy for the bluray the only difference in extras for the bluray and dvd?

I just have one question: Who is playing Lando? He wasn't even mentioned or seen in the trailer.

Just in case you haven't seen the recent Best Buy thread, the store is carrying the exclusive set which includes a T-Shirt and other stuff.

I thought about buying the bluray, but passed and just got the dvd. $12.99 at target instead of 19.99 for the bluray. I wouldn't use the digital copy, its not 16X9, and all the extras are on the dvd.
