Instant pre-order for me. This was the first horror movie I saw when I was about 4 years old.

What a totally random title to release. My roommate will do a backflip when I tell him this is coming out on BD.

Nice! It's sort of like earning a reward for having to wait all these years.

"Thrill me."

I caught an HD showing of this via Comcast OnDemand some months back and it looked pretty darn good.

Just FYI: this will have DTS-HD MA instead of TrueHD.

I'd say so. Penton at blu-ray.com requested a poll be taken regarding Sony and DTS. You can guess how the results went.

He said Angels and Demons will probably be Dolby as it was authored awhile back. I'm wondering if Pelham 1,2,3, might be a DTS title.

Fuck to the yes! Awesome news. So glad to see this is getting the red carpet treatment.

Now if LG would just get on that rumored BD for Monster Squad...

I think I will be picking this one up even though I've never actually seen the movie. I tend to like cheesy 80's horror movies.

Then you'll be in heaven with this one. Creeps is blessed with a witty, tongue-in-cheek script packed with horror in-jokes that compensates for the no-budget, albeit creative, FX.

What's with the major stiffy some people have for DTS MA? Do people just really want their light to, well, light up on their receiver? TrueHD/DTS MA/PCM is the same damn thing As long as it's lossless I'm happy.

I don't know where it came from. But there were double the votes for DTS. As long as it's lossless, I don't care what is used.

I'll take a Blu release of The Gate while their at it. If they do all that, I'll take back half the bad things I ever said about them.

This got delayed a week incase a mod wants to change the thread title. Really glad to see Sony on the 80's bandwagon recently.
