I'm currently working my way through True Blood Season 1 and really enjoying it, but I'm finding it difficult to watch the extras. Since I haven't seen the show before, I'm watching it in non-enhanced mode so that none of the audio/video is obscured, but then to watch the extras I have to rewatch the entire episode. Is there no way to go directly to the video inserts or faux documentaries/PSAs, etc? If I watch it on fast forward, it seems to skip over the "enhancements." Even a list of them with "time stamps" would be helpful (at least for the video based ones...The "hints" and the map seem pretty useless, so far).

The DVDTalk review for it mentions the "pain" of accessing the special features.

Nope, you have to watch them as the show runs. Pretty ridiculous of Warner.

I think HBO operates pretty independently of Warner

I did read the review, but I was hoping an "alternative" was later discovered. I tried searching fan sites to see if somebody had documented them with timestamps so that I could just FF to each one, but no luck.

I hope this is "fixed" for Season 2.
