Adam Tyner's reviews of both of those should be all you need to decide.

The Fly (I own the 2-disk SE SD DVD)

As with my previous list all I'm asking is, are these titles worth the money to upgrade?
It just had an MSRP price drop to only $16.99, and you can buy it right now at Amazon for only $9.99, so I'd say jump all over it.....

What about Speed and The Terminator. These are both at Target fr $10.00
Reviews on Terminator sound mediocre but Speed sound like it may be a worthy upgrade. Anyone have any opinions on these two?
Thanks

The Terminator is barely distinguishable from the SE DVD. Reportedly, a remaster is in the works, but it may not come out for a while.

I actually took a look at those two reviews before posting. Army of Darkness got pretty much the same video review at the other sites I checked (Hidef Digest and blu-ray.com), but An American Werewolf in London confused me a bit. It got almost the same rating on this site and blu-ray.com, but the reviewer on hidef digest gave it a 4/5 for video, so I didn't really know what to it expect and thought I should post it in here. Also reading Adam Tyner's review makes it sound like the blu-ray has the exact same transfer the HD-DVD had, which I thought looked like absolute crap and I honestly couldn't tell the difference between the HD-DVD version and the DVD version (I'm still kicking myself paying $30 for it when I could have bought the DVD for 1/3 of that price).

My opinion. When in doubt, always trust Adam Tyner's reviews on transfers. One would be hard pressed to find a more accurate reviewer.

Your decision on whether they are worth more money to repurchase probably solely comes down to how much the extras matter to you. Army of Darkness will almost certainly see a better release some day also.
