According to the executive producer Akihiro Yamaguchi, the "Shin" is named by Anno, and can stand for "新 (new)," "真 (true)," or "神 (god)." We also have Shin Kamen Rider to look forward to, although it’ll be a while before that hits home video over here. |

Sandler kinda lost his touch over the years but this earlier stuff like this and Waterboy have just the right amount of chaotic goofiness to make them worth re-watching.
