Studio Canal in the UK - Region B. Supposedly all (?) of the restored Hammer blu-rays will be released stateside eventually, but no distributor has yet been announced. SC have already released Dracula: Prince of Darkness with the twice-delayed Reptile and Plague of the Zombies coming next month.

Thanks!!

I was wondering if maybe a US distributor was going to release these but I definitely can't wait for that...I will be purchasing the UK blu-rays.

Per blu-ray.com: While Lionsgate has yet to detail the technical specifications for the Mind-Bending Edition, the Blu-ray boasts a new, director-supervised transfer - taken from the original negative

Total Recall. One of the few titles I regretted upgrading since it was $15 and wasn't an upgrade

This would be my first echo bridge title. Should I assume by the other post that they only serve up crap transfers?

From this MGM news post on their web site:

Charles Bronson says “no dice” to punks, bringing his own kind of vigilante justice to the streets as the heroic Paul Kersey in Death Wish II, Death Wish III, and Death Wish IV available on Blu-ray August 14.

Extras? Sure there are extras. But who cares when we just gave you eight awesome action films filled with blood and guts for the first time ever on Blu-ray!
I'm assuming II is still edited. Were 3 and 4 uncut on DVD? Part III is absolutely hilarious, but I have yet to subject myself to IV.

I could be wrong, but I thought 3 & 4 were both released with no cuts in all Regions.

Yes, in the U.S. - as I noted in my post, this will be a U.K. release, and sure to be a significant improvement on the Legend disc.

Hell Fucking Yes.

IV is fun, by no means a great entry, but it's got a great opening.

Edited or unedited version? I seem to recall some debate/lawsuit over a sculpture design used in the movie.

Blu-ray.com said it's the unrated director's cut.

I doubt they'd be able to use the sculpture. The artist didn't give permission.

Yeah, all the original copies were recalled. I still have mine.

As g said, I highly doubt this release will reinstate the original sculpture despite it being referred to as a Director's cut.

Seconded! Bought this on DVD years ago in London as a blind buy. Hope they do a decent job, but I'm not hopeful.

At one point I decided I really wanted the recalled version, and bid on multiple ebay auctions at once. Yep, I won 3 of them.

So I have the version of Devil's Advocate that does have the white sculpture of human bodies--that's the recalled one? I got my DVD player in mid-'99 and this was one of my Warner freebies (along with Lost in Space and maybe something else--Lethal Weapon 4?).
